Johnny Marco: “What’s that book about again?”
Cleo: “It’s about this girl that’s in love with this guy. But he’s a vampire, and his whole family’s vampires. So she can’t really be with him.”
Johnny Marco: “Why doesn’t she become one too?”
Cleo: “Because she can’t. He doesn’t want to turn her into a vampire. And if she gets too close to him, he won’t be able to help himself.”
Johnny Marco: “Oh, man.”

男主角Johnny迷失在聲色犬馬之中，錢、名聲、女人都垂手可得，心靈卻空虛得要命，直至重遇與前妻所生的11歲女兒Cleo。電影讓我最印像深刻的片段不是那電話聽筒旁男主角的嗚咽，而是他和女兒在房間打電玩的日常。

我們都在高速運轉底下生活，有時候得到愈多愈迷失，可能因為我們都忘了，要享受生命中最美麗的事情，不用金錢，只需要時間。慢下來感受，才能看到美好。我們需要一些空白去填補靈魂的空洞。
